Chapman Dune Buggy Tracking Vehicles For Hire

The Chapman Dune Buggy is our answer to off-road filming where you need tracking shots over difficult and very rough terrain. The Dune Buggy has the flexibility to mount a wide range of stabilised camera rigs (such as 3D camera packages) or conventional, multiple cameras (see photos) in numerous positions.

With our fantastic range of camera tracking vehicles at Chapman UK, we're confident we have equipment for virtually any land-based application you can think of.

With a powerful, high torque 750cc engine and 4x4 wheel drive (see features), the Chapman Dune Buggy easily copes with steep inclines, pot-holes, bumps and loose terrain like sand or mud. It's air-ride suspension and independent, oil dampening shock absorbers, ensure a smooth & balanced ride over even the roughest surfaces. These excellent off-road ride qualities combined with our Stabilised Remote Heads and amazing Vibration Isolators, ensure rock steady vehicle tracking shots with little or no unwanted vibration to the camera head. The Chapman Dune Buggy excels at difficult off-road tracking shots where other vehicles will struggle.

The Dune Buggy has been hard at work most recently on the Tom Cruise Blockbuster 'Edge of Tomorrow' (see photos), where it carried six 35mm film cameras for visual effects sequences and action tracking shots.
